The initial consultation takes place in our boutique making an appointment is preferable but not necessary. During this first meeting we go through our whole collection and suggest the various options available to the bride. Clients are also welcome, and indeed encouraged, to bring their own ideas to the table, including magazine cuttings, specific colours, a particular style or theme, etc. This will all help us make the perfect outfit for the bride.
The bride can try on different outfits in store, in order for us to ascertain the correct shape and style for her body type. At this stage, colours and fabric will be selected based on the skin tone & the time of the year. Thereafter we will suggest various embroideries and placements. The placement of embroidery will be done based on the bride's body type, to reduce negative body points & accentuate the positive. All of the finer details will be sketched out for the bride to see & once she is happy with everything, we move on to the final stage. Having discussed the various possibilities, we come up with a design sketch which puts on to paper the best ideas.
Finally the outfit will then go into production and once ready, the bride will have her first fitting. Production timescales depend according to type of outfit and embroidery (4-6 weeks, heavier pieces 10 weeks onwards). We also provide an express delivery service (please enquire in store regarding this service). Once the outfit is ready, clients return for a final fitting. If there are any minor alterations, these are carried out by our in house tailor. Once the bride is completely happy, the outfit is steam ironed and carefully packed, ready to wear on the big day.
We require a 50% deposit once the order is placed and the outstanding balance to be paid fully on collection.
